The Mouse in the Library

Story · by Aarav · Class 6 · Starfish School, Mangaluru

Moti the mouse lived behind the shelves of a school library.

Moti the mouse lived behind the shelves of a school library. At night he nibbled on the corners of crumbs and listened to the books whisper. One day the librarian found a tiny sign: "Please do not close the window. It is my front door." She smiled and left it open a crack. The next morning, a small thank-you note, written in tiny letters, sat on her desk.
