The Little Sparrow
Poem · by Diya · Class 6 · Maple Leaf School, Bhopal
A little sparrow, small and brown,…
A little sparrow, small and brown,
Hops across our garden down.
She takes a crumb, she takes a seed,
She chirps a thank-you for her feed.
I leave some water in a dish,
And she comes back, her only wish
To splash and sing and fly away,
And visit me another day.
