My shadow follows everywhere,
On the road and on the stair.
It gets long when the sun is low,
It gets short when the sun is high, you know.
I jump, it jumps. I wave, it waves.
It never talks, but always stays.
When it is cloudy, it takes a rest,
And hides away, a hide-and-seek guest.
