Think first, check facts, protect your privacy, be kind and keep learning.
Artificial intelligence, or AI, helps with maps, translation, spell-check and voice assistants. It is a clever helper, but it is not a person and it can be wrong.
Five smart habits
- **Think first.** Try the question yourself before asking a machine.
- **Check it.** If an AI gives a fact, confirm it in two other trusted places.
- **Keep it private.** Never share your full name, school, address, photos or passwords.
- **Be kind.** Never make fake pictures or voices of real people.
- **Keep learning.** Use AI to explain and to quiz you, not to do your homework for you.
