How Seeds Travel
Edulin Children’s News · Week of 22 March 2026
Plants cannot walk, so seeds travel in clever ways.
Plants cannot walk, so seeds travel in clever ways. Some, like the dandelion, fly on the wind. Some, like the coconut, float on the sea. Some, like burrs, stick to fur. Others are eaten by birds and carried far away. Next time you see a seed, imagine where it came from, and try planting one in a pot at home.
